Day 1 – February 16, 2026 – Monday – Faith That Moves
Summary
Spiritual things in Scripture are not invisible and untouchable. The Lord uses physical actions to accomplish spiritual work. The laying on of hands is not fringe doctrine. Hands represent agency, responsibility, authority, blessing, and transfer. We are made in His image, and He chooses to work through ours. This week begins with a simple but weighty truth: if His pierced hands saved us, we should not hesitate to use ours in obedience.

In what way do I actively tangibly and tangibly participate in my faith?
Recall and replay in your mind a time when God used your simple act of obedience for his will.

Prayer
Lord, forgive me for the times I have treated Christianity as information instead of intervention. You have always worked in ways that can be seen and felt. Your hands formed the earth. Your hands were pierced for my salvation. Teach me to obey even when I do not fully grasp the mechanics. Let my faith be embodied, not theoretical. Remove hesitation and replace it with reverent obedience. I want to participate in what You are doing, not watch from a distance.
Action
Write down one specific way you have been spiritually passive. Beside it, write one practical step you will take this week to move from spectating to ministering.
Day 2 – February 17, 2026 – Tuesday – Upheld by His Righteous Right Hand
Summary
Hands in Scripture are never accidental. They carry meaning. They carry power. God’s hands create and sustain. Our hands move, but their effectiveness depends on Him. We are not autonomous. When He promises help, He says He will uphold us with His righteous right hand. This should sober and steady us. The same God who works with His hands calls us to use ours wisely as extensions of Christ.

Father, I confess that I often operate as though everything depends on me. Remind me that my strength is borrowed. You uphold me with Your righteous right hand. Let my work, my service, and my prayers flow from dependence, not pride. Teach me to use my hands in ways that reflect Your character. Guard me from misusing what You have entrusted to me.
Action
Write down an area of your life where you feel pressure to perform. Surrender it to the Lord in writing and acknowledge your dependence on His strength.
Day 3 – February 18, 2026 – Wednesday – The Weight of Blessing
Summary
The first mention of laying on of hands in Scripture is about blessing and inheritance. It was not accidental. It was prophetic and covenantal. Hands were also used for transfer in sacrifice. The worshiper laid his hand on the offering, identifying with it in a binding act. It is relational and accountable before God. When we lay hands in the church, we step into a pattern God established long ago.

Lord, thank You for the blessing You have spoken over my life through Christ. Thank You that He stood in my place. Make me intentional with my words and my touch. Day 4 – February 19, 2026 – Thursday – Authorized, Not Self-Appointed
Summary
Laying on of hands confirms, it does not create. It authorizes and releases within accountability. It obeys because God says to obey. It imparts as we walk in faith. As we move toward this coming Sunday, let the Lord search our motives and purify our participation in church life.

Prayer
Holy Spirit, stir up what You have placed inside me. Keep me from pride and from haste. Let me move in obedience, not impulse. Teach me to honor both Your sovereignty and Your order. As we approach Sunday, prepare my heart to serve with purity and reverence.
Action
Serving God is sometimes held up by guilt from sin in our own lives. Consider any areas of your life that may be hindering your faith and boldness. Commit to speaking with a trusted leader if needed.
Day 5 – February 20, 2026 – Friday – From Spectator to Steward
Summary
The greatest ministry of the church is not only from the pulpit but in the pews. Each one has received a gift. Minister it to one another. Skipping gatherings weakens not only you but the body. Infrequent attendance produces intermittent victories because there is no relational capital to draw from. As Sunday approaches, ask yourself if you are a steward or a spectator.

Prayer
Lord, forgive me for passivity. I do not want to be dull of hearing or slow to act. Make me a faithful steward of the grace You have given. Build courage in me to pray for others. Let my presence in church strengthen the body, not leave gaps. Teach me to show up ready to serve.
Action
As you continue to pray for your person this week. Plan on praying for them in person while laying hands on them this Sunday. Coordinate same services if needed.
Day 6 – February 21, 2026 – Saturday – Two Are Better Than One
Summary
Do not carry burdens alone. Invite the body in. There is responsibility on the one who needs help to ask for it. Two are better than one. If they fall, one will lift up his companion. As you prepare for tomorrow, decide that you will not sit isolated. Come early. Stay after. If you need prayer, ask. If someone shares a struggle, pray right then.

Father, break isolation off my life. Give me humility to ask for help and boldness to offer it. Prepare my heart for gathered worship tomorrow. Let me walk into church ready to bear burdens and to have mine borne. Make our fellowship real, accountable, and full of Your presence.

Write down one burden you will share with a trusted believer tomorrow. Also continue to pray for the person you will be laying on of hands tomorrow.
Day 7 – February 22, 2026 – Sunday – His Pierced Hands, Our Obedient Hands
Summary
Today we gather as a physical, in person, accountable body. Jesus showed Thomas His hands and told him to believe. Those pierced hands are the source of eternal life. Because His hands worked for us, we moved ours in obedience. Normal church life includes prayer, fellowship, breaking of bread, and laying hands on one another. Come ready to participate, not observe.

Remember to pray for boldness as you pray while laying on hands for someone at church today.
Remember to pray for even more boldness as you share a burden with a fellow believer.
