Victory Over Worry

Pastor Brad emphasized that when life feels chaotic, the believer’s response should not be panic, but pursuit of God. The answer is not denial, pretending problems are not real, or ignoring pain. The answer is alignment with God.

That means:

• Replacing panic with prayer

When God is first, peace can return. When the heart is aligned with His kingdom, fear begins to lose its grip.

Practical Application

This sermon gave several clear applications for everyday life:

Put God first

Do not make God an afterthought. Seek Him first in prayer, in His Word, and in daily obedience.

Guard your mind and your mouth

Do not feed fearful thoughts by constantly speaking them. Take anxious thoughts captive and bring them under the authority of Christ.

Stop letting fear lead

Fear should not make decisions for your life. God’s Word should.

Trust God with what you cannot control

Whether it is your children, marriage, future, finances, health, or the state of the world, God is still faithful.

A word about eternity

Near the end of the sermon, Pastor Brad brought the message to its most important point. Beyond daily fear and worry is an even greater question: Are you ready to meet God?
