Monday, May 25, 2026 – You’ve Got It So Good: Don’t Settle for a Polished Outside
Summary
Some things look perfect until you actually walk in and realize the inside tells the truth. That’s how religion can be. It can sound right, look clean, follow a process, and still leave the inside untouched. Hebrews presses on one big problem: the old system could address the outside, but it could not clear the conscience. Forgiveness is one thing, but a clean conscience is another, and many people live stuck between the two. God is not interested in surface-level maintenance, He is after inside transformation. You’ve got it so good in Christ, so do not settle for a faith that only manages appearances.
Scripture to Read
Hebrews 10:1–2
Psalm 51:6
Matthew 23:25–28
Reflection
Where am I tempted to look “fine” outwardly while carrying guilt or fear inwardly?
If God touched the inside today, what would need to change first?
Prayer
Father, I don’t want surface-level religion. I confess how easily I try to manage the outside while ignoring the inside. Cleanse what I can’t fix, and reach what I can’t reach. Give me truth in the inward parts and courage to stop pretending. Let Your work in me be real, deep, and lasting.
Action
Write down one area where you’ve been managing appearances instead of letting God cleanse the inside.
Tuesday, May 26, 2026 – Repeated Sacrifices, Repeated Guilt
Summary
The old covenant required repeated sacrifices again and again, year after year. If it could have provided perfect cleansing, it would have stopped. But it never did, and the result was ongoing guilt that never fully disappeared. That system depended on human performance, and performance always leaves room for fear, error, and exhaustion. Imagine trusting your standing with God to whether the ritual was done right that day. That kind of setup could never produce settled peace. You’ve got it so good because Christ doesn’t offer temporary coverage, He offers final cleansing.
Scripture to Read
Hebrews 10:1–4
Romans 8:1
1 John 1:9
Reflection
Where do I still think “I must do more” before I can draw near to God?
What guilt keeps resurfacing because I keep treating cleansing like a repeatable task?
Prayer
Lord, free me from the treadmill of trying to feel clean through effort. Forgive me for treating Your grace like something I have to keep re-earning. Quiet the fear that I missed a step and now I’m outside again. Teach me to trust the finished work of Jesus with a settled heart. Replace anxious striving with humble confidence in You.
Action
Write down one sentence that describes the “treadmill” you get stuck on, then write one sentence of truth to replace it.
Wednesday, May 27, 2026 – Holiness Still Matters, Access Is Now Personal
Summary
God’s holiness has not changed. The requirement for holiness in approaching a holy God is the same today as it was then. What changed is the way access is provided. Under the old covenant, access was fragile and restricted, but Jesus made it direct and personal. You can draw near anytime and anywhere through Him, not because you are flawless, but because He is. That is why “You’ve got it so good” is not hype, it is reality. The question is whether you will actually use the access you’ve been given.
Scripture to Read
Hebrews 10:19–22
John 14:6
Hebrews 12:28–29
Reflection
What would change if I started drawing near as a pattern, not an emergency move?
Prayer
Father, thank You for making a way to draw near through Jesus. Forgive me for staying distant out of habit, shame, or distraction. Put reverence back in me, not fear that runs away, but worship that draws close. Teach me to approach You with humility and confidence because Christ has opened the way. Help me actually live like access is real.
Action
Write down one moment today when you will intentionally draw near to God (not rushed, not distracted).
Thursday, May 28, 2026 – Don’t Just Take the Picture: Ask Him for Guidance
Summary
A lot of people want proof they were near someone important, but never actually want a real conversation. It’s easy to treat Jesus like a label, a wall decoration, a quick “I believe” and move on. But you’ve got access for more than optics, you’ve got access for relationship and guidance. Scripture shows a High Priest who understands weakness, not a distant God who shrugs at your struggles. The invitation is to come and actually ask Him, “How would You handle this?” Not generic religion, real following. If you have access, use it, especially when life is hard and your emotions are loud.
Scripture to Read
Hebrews 4:15–16
James 1:5
John 10:27
Reflection
What situation am I carrying that I need to bring to Him for guidance right now?
In what weakness do I assume I’m alone in?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I don’t want a shallow relationship with You. Teach me to come close and ask for help, wisdom, and direction. You understand weakness, and You are not intimidated by my mess. Give me humility to listen and courage to obey. Make my faith practical and my dependence real.
Action
Write down one question you need to ask Jesus about your current situation, then take five minutes and ask it plainly in prayer.
Friday, May 29, 2026 – Obedience Includes Receiving
Summary
Some people think obedience is only doing, but obedience is also receiving what God has said is true. The prodigal came home with a plan to earn his way back, but the father ran, embraced him, and restored him as a son. That is the picture of grace: not buying your way into the Father’s heart, but receiving the restoration He gives. Many believers accept the robe but hesitate to wear the ring, forgiven but still acting like hired servants. You’ve got it so good, but you won’t enjoy it if you keep trying to earn what has been freely offered. Receive what God says about you, then live from it.
Scripture to Read
Luke 15:17–24
Hebrews 13:5
Psalm 139:14
Reflection
Where do I still approach God like a servant trying to earn love instead of a child receiving it?
Prayer
Father, I confess how often I try to earn what You give freely. Forgive me for treating grace like a wage. Teach me to receive what You have said, not argue with it. Restore me where shame has trained me to stay at a distance. Help me obey by receiving, and then obey by living like it’s true.
Action
Write down one promise of God you struggle to receive, then write “I receive this by faith” and pray it back to Him.
Saturday, May 30, 2026 – Don’t Settle: Use Your Access to Grow
Summary
“You’ve got it so good” is not an excuse to coast, it’s a reason to go deeper. The old system could never take away sins, and it left people stuck in constant repetition and constant fear. In Christ, cleansing is real, access is real, and transformation is possible. But you can still settle, not because the door is closed, but because you stop walking through it. If you truly believe you have access, then prayer stops being occasional and becomes normal. Worship stops being routine and becomes response. Tonight, prepare your heart for Sunday by deciding you won’t settle for the label when you’ve been offered the life.
Scripture to Read
Hebrews 10:11–14
John 15:4–5
Psalm 63:1
Reflection
What needs to change tonight so I come into Sunday ready and hungry?
Prayer
Lord, wake me up where I’ve been coasting. Forgive me for settling for a name without the life. Stir hunger in me for prayer, worship, and real obedience. Teach me to use the access You purchased instead of ignoring it. Prepare my heart for tomorrow so I come ready, humble, and responsive.
Action
Write down one specific way you will use your access to God tomorrow morning before church (prayer, confession, thanksgiving, Scripture).
Sunday, May 31, 2026 – Rejoice: Your Name Is Written in Heaven
Summary
It’s good to remember you have access, but don’t stop there. The deeper joy is that your name is written in heaven. You’re not just someone who visited church or took a spiritual “picture,” you are known by God. That changes how you worship and how you suffer and how you face temptation, because your security is not built on your performance. You’ve got it so good, not because life is easy, but because Jesus is enough and His work is finished. Come into worship today with gratitude, not striving, and with confidence, not condemnation. Let worship be the overflow of a heart that knows it has been welcomed.
Scripture to Read
Luke 10:19–20
Hebrews 10:17–18
Romans 8:33–34
Reflection
Where do I need to exchange shame for gratitude today?
Prayer
Father, thank You that I am known by You. Thank You that my standing is secured through Jesus. Silence condemnation and strengthen gratitude. Help me come into worship ready to receive, ready to obey, and ready to rejoice. Let my life this week reflect the joy and security of being Yours.
Action
Before you leave for church, write down one reason you can rejoice today, and bring that into worship.
