Monday, March 23 – The Certainty of God’s Promise
Summary
The promises of God are not fragile or uncertain. They are anchored in His unchanging nature. Hebrews reminds us that God confirmed His promise with an oath because there is nothing higher than Himself. What He has spoken will not change. The struggle comes when we read those promises individually instead of collectively. When life does not go the way we expected, frustration rises because we assumed the promise was about our personal outcome. But God is not managing isolated lives. He is forming a people. His promises are secure, but they unfold within His plan for His people, not our personal timelines.

Tuesday, March 24 – You Were Never Meant to Carry This Alone
Summary
God’s promises were never meant to be carried alone. Trying to inherit them individually is like trying to win a team sport by yourself. From the beginning, God’s plan was to redeem a people, not just individuals. Abraham received promises, but those promises extended far beyond him. The same is true for us. We are not disconnected recipients of God’s word. We belong to something larger. When we isolate ourselves, we step outside the very context where God’s promises are lived out.

Summary

These are relational promises. They define His character. God does not simply accomplish redemption. He gives Himself. His presence has always been central, not comfort or success. To belong to His people is to live in the reality that He is with us.

This means our hope is not tied to circumstances but to a person. Hebrews calls this hope an anchor. If we lose sight of Christ, we lose stability. But if we remain rooted in Him, we stay steady no matter what shifts around us.
