I AM SICK AND TIRED of the accuser. There are so many people being deceived right now and being used of Satan, and they cannot see that they are a tool of the enemy, they are blind. Anytime you accuse God’s church, you are being used of the enemy.
Satan is called “the ACCUSER of the brethren”. “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” Revelation 12:9-10
In fact the Greek word for “slander” is “diabolos”. You guessed it, the devil. diábolos (from /diabállō, “to slander, accuse, defame”) – properly, a slanderer; a false accuser; unjustly criticizing to hurt (malign) and condemn to sever a relationship. In secular Greek it means “backbiter,” i.e. an accuser, calumniator (slanderer). diábolos is literally someone who “casts through,” making charges that bring down (to destroy).
In Scripture, the end times will be marked by these slanderers, (2 Tim 3:3) these are within the church. Please read, understand and be warned. If you seek to tear down God’s holy church, please stand far away from me. I don’t want anything to do with a slanderer. Destruction is your end and anyone standing near you will go down with you.
When you entertain gossip and slander, you are partaking of the devil’s food. Me? I refuse to have anything to do with slander. King David shared the same sentiment, “A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil. Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure.” Psalm 101:4-5
Love requires that I build up and edify (edification includes not only encouragement, but warning, correction, and instruction in righteousness) but never slander and casting through to destroy. Love believes the best. This means I wait until the full story unfolds before I form an opinion and before I speak a word. I will not partake of any offense or bitterness. I will mind my own business and keep my eyes on my own race. I will keep my heart pure from all evil.
If you have done wickedly with your tongue it is time to humble yourself, repent and cleanse your mouth. Cut off your tongue if it’s causing you to spread evil. It’s better to enter heaven without a tongue than to go to hell because you refused to control yourself. The Lord will return at a time we least expect. Will you be found a gossip and slanderer?
