Monday, May 11, 2026 – Looks Clean Until You Walk In
Summary
There are things that look perfect on the outside and tell the truth on the inside. You can read the reviews, see the pictures, and still walk into the room and instantly know, this is not what it claimed to be. Religion can do the same thing. It can sound right, look polished, and follow a process while the inside stays untouched. Tuesday, May 12, 2026 – The Old System Could Touch the Body, Not the Spirit

The old covenant had a process, rituals, washings, duties, sacrifices. It was real, and it exposed sin, but it could not perfect the conscience. That is not a small limitation, that is the whole problem. You can “deep clean” and still wake up anxious because the fear and the memory are still there. Outward cleansing without inward cleansing leaves you stuck in a loop. God has always wanted congruency, what we say matching what is actually happening inside. Wednesday, May 13, 2026 – Christ Entered Where No One Else Could Go
Summary
Hebrews 9 shifts from what religion could never accomplish to what Christ actually did. Jesus did not enter an earthly copy with borrowed blood, He entered with His own blood, once for all. That is the access humanity has always needed, real nearness to God, not a distant relationship managed through layers of restriction. The old system had access, but it was restricted, guarded, and limited. Then Jesus opened the way. What was closed became available. God’s goal is not merely that you behave better, it is access, relationship, presence, the ability to draw near without terror and without pretending. Christ entered for you.

Religion can correct behavior for a season, but it cannot reach the place guilt lives. Christ does not just forgive what you did, He cleans what it did to you. Shame, embarrassment, fear that it will be held against you, the lingering condemnation, those are not stronger than Jesus. This is where the fight gets practical. Scripture describes it plainly: put off the old man, be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man. That is not self-improvement, that is new identity lived out. This is also where people get stuck, they want relief from guilt but they do not want to change direction. But freedom is real, and it comes with a new way of walking. Slippage is not your identity, but you also do not make peace with what Christ died to free you from. Clean conscience and renewed mind go together.

That means you are not working to earn an inheritance like an employee trying to prove yourself. You are already named in the will. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee, and that guarantee is stronger than your moods and stronger than your fears. This life has pain, loss, conflict, and suffering, but that is not the inheritance of the child of God. Your future is reserved, kept by the power of God through faith. Saturday is a good day to practice looking forward on purpose, because what you believe about the future shapes how you carry the present.

The lingering memory of your past is not greater than the priesthood of Jesus. When accusation rises, you do not bow to it, you answer it with the receipt: paid in full. And because access is real, you are not called to live distant from God, you are called to draw near and serve the living God. Worship matters today because worship is the appropriate response to what has been secured for you.
